CONCERN OR CONDEMN
Judgement can be expressed in a concerning manner or a condemning manner. An expression of concern sees a possibility in the hope of change for the better. An expression of condemnation is a conclusion of no hope for change. The next time when one sees an unbecoming behaviour of another Christian, express the right judgement.
ACTION AND REACTION
Nobody can really tell whether a Christian actions are genuine or not until the situation they are in is suddenly interrupted and their reaction to it reveals what is really in them. Martha was full with actions but her reaction to Mary's 'non-action' reveals what was really in her heart.
The bible says that lusting is actually a form of sin, and being guys, most will like to look at some girls and say 'WOW!'. The bible says something about, if one lust, its better to dig out the eyes than losing one's whole body. When one lust, one commits sexual perversion... however, boys in teenage times are easily tempted, what should they do?
The actual word is 'covet' which is the 10th commandment. So lusting is not just in sexual issues. Lusting hits every age group and both genders. Girls can lust in looking good which can lead to buy many clothings.
Jesus did not said cannot look a girls but look and lust. It is unavoidable for guys not to see girls walking their way everyday, but they can avoid looking at them lustfully. When one looks at Christian girls, one looks at what God is doing in their lives - transforming them into the image of His Son Jesus Christ. With these in mind, Christian guys will deliberate make effort to see them as God sees them. Don't mess with what God is doing! This is a good deterrent.
When one looks at non-Christian girls, it is the same approach as it is God's desire to have the opportunity to transform them into the image of His Son Jesus Christ. Don't mess with what God is interested in doing! Another safe guard.
So it is possible for Christian guys to look and relate with girls with all purity. It is all about the renewing of the mind.
