PLANTS

Plants do really make a difference in any man-made environment. They add "life". Do take note when you go to any official functions. Plants will greet you in every turn of the corner up to the stage. Just look at the corridors of the HDB flats. The Garden was the Creator’s idea of home. It was really the fullness of LIFE then - plants, birds, animals and fishes in that river passing through!!! Nothing artificial....what I mean "man-made".

VALUE

How can one value a stalk of flower? The original flower created back in Genesis is in equal value with the stars in the galaxy because they were created with the same power words of God. They were valued as "good", no more, no less. When one buys flowers, buy it at the lowest price as the real value is what it is as oppose to how much it is. When one receives flowers, it should be valued as what it is as oppose to how much it is. The bottom line is that there is no such thing as a "cheap skate" flower. 14 Feb is around the corner, don't buy into the lies of the pricing.

HIJACKED!

The bottom line of "The Last Samurai" is American dominance. The Japanese Heritage is being hijacked and ends up in the hands of an American.

Before the founding of the state of Israel in 1948. There was a teaching from the American Church that the Gentile Church has replaced Israel in the fulfilling of God’s purpose. So every good promises in the OT that are supposedly belongs to Israel has been transferred to the Church. But in reality to the Word, Israel will fulfill her role in the return of the King in the end days. Just like in reality, the Samurai heritage was not hijack by an American. The bottom line in life in relation to the Word, too many Christians dwell in fantasy rather than in reality. They have set themselves up for hijack by the Anti-Christ when he comes. All the wishy-washy view of the supposedly Christian life will go down the drain. That is why many will give up the faith in the last days and end up in the hands of the Anti-Christ. Be warned, the great hijack is coming!

FIRST LOVE

When I was having a special relationship with someone about 10 years ago, the big struggle was making time with the person and with God. You see, before that relationship started, most of the evenings at home were spend on the Word and Prayer. I was always looking forward to go home. Being in the presence of God was my first love. It was an experience that I would not exchange for anything thing else in this world. Just like the psalmist wrote in Ps 84 "one day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere".

Soon I was spending more time with the person on the phone and in writing letters. Somehow, circumstances did not permit the relationship to carry on. The initial stage of letting go was difficult. Felt empty and aimless and was in the midst of preparing to go into full-time ministry. What a time to be enrolled in a Bible School?!! It was in the Bible School that I recaptured the presence of God again. God indeed has a way of restoring my First Love - I was asked to write a poem (later I "upgrade" it into a song) on my experience on the theme was "To Know Him and To Make Him Known" as a contribution for the Bible School magazine. Not much effort and time needed as I wrote because it came from a heart that had returned to First Love…..

In Your Presence, Lord
I humbly fall
In reverence and in awe

In Your Presence, Lord
My fear disappears
When Your Peace appears

In Your Presence, Lord
I will praise You
For making life anew

In Your Presence, Lord
I will seek Your face
To receive abundant grace

In Your Presence, Lord
I will give my ear
To a voice so near

In Your Presence, Lord
Knowing Your will
Is always my fill

In Your Presence, Lord
I will intercede
According to Your heartbeat

In Your Presence, Lord
You are changing me
Into Your fullness and glory

In Your Presence, Lord
Is always, always new
When I come before You
