BRONZE
These days, it is perceived that Bronze has its significance for those who are placed third in any sports competition. Bronze truly finds its significance in the music arena - cymbal making. Though gold and silver do find their place in monetary value, they have no place in cymbal making. When comes to cymbal making, Bronze is the “gold”.
True Christians are considered fools in this world because their values in life are incompatible. That is why they are often been sneered at. That is why they are called aliens. Their world view is really out of this world. They will find their real significance in the new world to come. Though the non-Christians and phony Christians do find their place in this present worldly values, they have no place in the new world to come.
God’s perception is authoritative. When one is “gold” in the eyes of God, it doesn’t matter when one is worst than shit in the eyes of the whole world. Don’t forget, shit is the “gold” in fertilizing… 6000 years ago. By the way, Adam’s shit had its place in the perfect Garden of Eden.
ROLE MODEL
These days, it is perceived that in order to be a role model, one has to be a star celebrity. It should be the other way round where when one is a role model, that person is a star. It should be from the inside out rather than the outside in. When those star celebrities fade from the limelight, does that mean they ceased to be a role model for that specific cause?
There was a role model 2000 years ago, people gave him a star celebrity status and had a huge following in the beginning. His popularity dwindled as time went by because of what He stands for - to give up everything to follow Him. He was true to His cause to His death on the cross. He suffered and died alone. He was raised to stardom by God where every knee must bow, every tongue must confess that He is Lord of the heavens, on earth and beneath the earth.
As long as anyone is willing to follow His footstep, that person becomes a star that shines and is in a limelight in the midst of darkness. A star celebrity forever without the fear of fading from the limelight of eternity. There are enough places for everyone to be a star in the whole universe, so why compete for stardom that can be offered to one person - the Idol series - like a flower that blooms today and admired by many but forgotten the moment it is gone.
