BIRD FLU OUTBREAK
The outbreak of the bird flu finds it roots in the greed of men. Due to the high demand for chicken consumsion, corners must have been cut somewhere for the quick supply so as to bring in the $$$. Must be the man made feed and genetic engineering for the quick growth of the chicken that create a MONSTER outbreak of this virus. If the chickens were to allow to grow naturally according to the Creator's design, no such thing will happen. Gluttony and greed goes hand in hand.
There is an outbreak of a virus in the churches today. It is called "nominalism". Because of the greed for a large membership in the churches today, corners must have been cut somewhere in the Gospel message to make it so appealing to the masses. A MONSTER of lethargic Christians had been created and it is responsible for the slowness in the completion of the Great Commission. If Christians are allowed to grow naturally in the spiritual aspect, there will be life long commitment to God's cause than the short term commitments that fizzles out we see these days. The Christian life is a marathon, not a 100 m dash. Try to run in a marathon with the speed of a 100 m dash all the way. The outcome is obvious! What do we have left in the end?
